Why does the PS4 vibration not work when I play Fortnite?

For example, when I get shot, my controller has always vibrated but suddenly no longer even though the vibration is switched on in the PS4 menu and in the fortnite menu.
would be nice if maybe someone could help.

Maybe broken.
