I ask right here, because I haven't found a solution myself so far and I ONLY have it in Fortnite, that I always have rather strong short stutters in the lobby and also in the game outside of the lobby every now and then and my graphics settings do not stay saved. Otherwise the game runs if the stuttering weren't super smooth without FPS drops, which it should on the PC. Ping is always between 0 and 10. I ONLY have this problem in Fortnite, even Warzone runs constantly on MAX Graphics without any stuttering or FPS drops. Have I forgotten something? The drivers are all up to date, including the graphics driver.
I list my specs here:
Intel i9 10900k 10x 5.3 GHz turbo clock
RTX 2080 TI 11GB
32 GB Ram 3200MHz G Skill
1 TB SSD where the operating system and the game are installed on it.
Does anyone know or have had a similar problem? I would be very, very grateful for every tip and every help.
You should see how much hz your monitor has. If it has 120hz, for example, then you limit the FPS in the game to it, otherwise the picture could be distorted because the monitor can't process the line. In addition, you can't see more FPS as your monitor supports and that's why it's just unnecessary. It was the same for me in Fortnite and then I limited it to my average FPS and then it went great.
Use G Sync with a compatible monitor (144Hz) and so I have Vsync on Nvidia settings on and ingame on off as it was in the G Sync description. In addition, limited to 144 HZ in-game. So it shouldn't be that.
I'm not that Nvidia type, but AMD has some games that can't handle certain features. E.g. AMD-Chill or AMD-Enhanced-FreeSync.
Your driver may provide similar features that Fortnite doesn't like that much.
It's fortnite ^^ it's probably due to the servers or your internet connection
