I'm maybe a little better than the average. But do you think it's possible that if I don't do anything outside of school other than gamble, become an athlete?
Absolutely unrealistic, the best of the best play the games they have been so good at since they were released or made famous. On top of that comes the specific tactics so don't just start playing. It's like in the "real" sport. You can do it for as long as you want, it is unlikely to ever get into the professional league. Trying to do that is irresponsible, keep going to school and get a decent job.
Maybe yes, but you would have to get a blistering PC to really get the best out of it and you have to be prepared to play other games later, I think Fortnite will not work anymore at some point.
But first try prize money tournaments, if you tear something there, that's a good start.
It's relatively easy, you have to learn the game principle. Then you play with the professionals after a weekend.
A friend of mine, formerly cs national team selection, taught me a game in 30 minutes, where I then played in the topliga after a few weeks.
Something better is not enough. Many are slightly better than the average.
Just like everyone who goes to soccer training three times a week becomes a Bundesliga professional.
A plan B would certainly not be wrong…
