I would like to get the honor 8x, but first I wanted to know if you can play fortnite on it. While I'm supposed to see a video on Google, but on the list of compatible devices, from fortnite, the device is not on it!
If your device is not on the list, it's also not compatible with Fortnite. What's so hard to understand?
The game should not be compatible.
There's still no device compatible with a mid-range Kirin processor. The Mate 20 Lite or P30 Lite also use the Kirin 710 SoC and none of the devices are compatible.
If we take the graphics chip from Kirin 710, this is also not compatible.
The Mali G51 chip with 4 cores is used and at least one Mali G71 chip with 20 cores or one Mali G72 with 12 cores is needed.
The Kirin offers so only a middle-class chip with too few cores.
I guess the video was a different device used. Maybe they use a OnePlus 6, which is very similar from the front. If modifications are made on an Honor 8X, the performance should be miserable.
Eventually Fortnite was also used with e.g. Steam Link streamed from your PC to your phone. Thus, the PC has the heavy load and not the smartphone.
