How / when do I get custom games in Fortnite?

Now have a creator code (since yesterday) when do I get the custom games or do I have to apply for it? Is it also possible that you don't accept a creator code (which doesn't include tax information etc.) and only have custom games?

I got customer games just like that so I didn't have to apply for anything, but I don't know if Chapter 2 is the same
