I'm desperate, since yesterday my headphones are not working properly.
They are normal headphones. A microphone is also available, which is why I had brought me a Y-adapter, so I can hear something and talk at the same time, because the headphones only has a 3.5mm jack. Everything worked and worked great.
Since yesterday, though, when I talk to friends in Fortnite, Discord or similar, my friends hear all the sounds on my PC as well. Say Spotify, notifications, videos on YT and so on.
I have been searching for a solution for 1 1/2 hours, but find nothing. Have in the Realtek HD Audio Manager tried everything. In addition, one sees in the sound settings a rash in the speaker, if anything is running in the background.
Have already reinstalled the audio driver several times. Unfortunately I do not know what to do!
The adapter will be cheap and everything that arrives at the output with you again forward to the input (poorly isolated)
If I unplug the adapter, are still rashes to see if music or a video is running
Then I do not know why the problem should have arisen with the adapter.
edit:
Take a look if there's a check in somewhere in the Windows sound input settings "Use the device as a playback source"
No such thing
Do you have the recording sound device "stereo mix" or "wave-in"? If so, does it help disable it?
Already deactivated
