Is it just me, or is the spatial sound quality in Fortnite: Battle Royale extremely weak? Sometimes I can't tell the position of opponents and fellow players from the sound and almost always die because of that. I play the game on Switch, PS4 Pro, and PC and this "problem" occurs on all three platforms. I've already tried a lot (TV speakers, headset, external speakers, "3D headphones" function and "High sound quality" switched on in the settings), but from my point of view it is compared to most of the others (Battle Royale) Playing underground surround sound continues. In my opinion, the only thing that can compensate for the bad sound, depending on the situation, is the option "visualize sound effects", but it can't be that such a well-known and successful game still has such a poor sound quality after so many updates?
Do you know / do you also have this problem and do you know what can help against it?

I've tried so many sound output sources that I don't think it's because. I also think that my mid-range headset should be enough to hear the direction of steps in a computer game.
Then I don't know what it could be.
i don't play fortinite anymore but it was still a good game with good sound except once i had a sound bug
