I've had an internal Windows problem for a while and thought maybe someone can help me here, because the internet can't. My problem is a sound bug or something similar. It occurs in connection with computer games in full screen and is triggered by the Alt key. I recorded this sound yesterday when I tried to reproduce it in a round of fortnite. I went into a game normally and after I pressed the Alt key once nothing happened, but when I pressed it several times, the sound appeared. In the following video I open my inventory (with the Alt key) and every time I hear this noise, which I can't assign. I have not connected a bluetooth device to my PC, so I switched off the sound aid. Besides, I had opened discord and word or something. I hope you have encountered this error before and you can help me, because after several hours I did not find it on the internet.
I look forward to every answer.
Now it would be very helpful if you could explain which noise you mean. I don't know the game and I guess you mean the beeping in ascending pitch.
Is that the snap function? Try turning off the sounds when you press the lock function under Settings → Ease of use → Keyboard. I immediately deactivated the locking function.
If that were the case, the sound would be the same in all applications. So open the editor and press Alt as often.
The game doesn't matter, it always sounds the same. As mentioned, I have already turned off the locking function. The sound only comes out when playing games in full screen mode when the Alt key is pressed frequently. The sound does not occur in the editor.
Do you have two screens
Open the Windows sound mixer on the second screen and check which program is generating the sound.
Yes I have. The sound comes from the system. Anyone I've asked has never heard the sound before. Really strange.
