My PC is not stone old and it is not because of the distance or something because it used to run much more fluidly so where I bought it 3-4 years ago and it has been here in the living room in the same place as for years today. No crash during the game, nothing. I don't know what happened, but now it crashes etc. Extremely annoying! So I decided to completely restart my PC as if I had just bought it all over again. Now everything is set up, etc. In the hope that things might go better. I'm not a gambler, but just wanted to play Fortnite out of boredom. My goodness that doesn't work at all! The fact that it said, Fortnite does not respond 'Are my settings in the game too high? Or what? So my ping is 25:35 actually pretty good. My PC is an All-In-One: Hp 22-b006ng: Windows 10 Home (x64) Version 2004. Processor: AMD A6-7310 APU with Radeon R4 Graphics. 64-bit

Well, as you already said, the hardware is antique and even back then it was rather low end in the notebook sector. The fact that games no longer react will be due to insufficient RAM and the abnormally slow HDD
Settings are way too high, go down to 720p, 75% resolution scaling and low visibility. Maybe that's just how it works
You must have installed quite a few programs during that time.
Try to deactivate the unnecessary auto-start programs.

To get it back on track, do a Win10 restore.
