Why could it be that my computer crashes?

My computer is now about 6 years old, but should actually be good enough for games such as Fortnite. Every time I play a game like Fortnite my computer crashes and now it is so bad that when I watch eg Youtube and some small things like eg Discord etc my screen just turns black and I like the audio from Youtube always but still stop my PC must restart again because my screen remains black.

A semiconductor can break, and they age as well.

I still use Windows 8 and it may be that my computer overheated because there should be a lot of dust in there. Have since about 2 years not cleaned. Thanks for your answer I guess I just install Windows 10 and just clean my PC again.

maybe your HDMI cable is just broken or has a loose contact

To be honest, there are many factors that cause your PC to crash. Try to find the problem yourself, and if you are stuck, get it repaired
