Hello here are my specs for my current PC.
I'm slowly noticing that games like Fortnite no longer run 100% smoothly, sometimes stuttering or freeze. FPS drops sometimes below 80 fps.
What would be the most sensible thing to upgrade next to get more performance right away.
If you get such bad results with the hardware, it is because something is slowing down your hardware (some junk that consumes noisy performance) and not the hardware itself. Would clean my PC properly and check it out before I buy something new, if you really want a graphics card
And temps and what resolution does he have
Do you know a software that may find the problems? I clocked my CPU to 3.9 GHz but that should actually have advantages. I'm not a professional with it now.
So simply the Task Manager because you can see how much power is being consumed then you can work on it a little. In any case, close all tabs in the browser, which pulls quite a bit. But again to the real question on how much is it going on average? Because dips below 80 don't really do anything. Did you dust your PC off?
PC is dusted. Average 80FPS-120FPS A few months ago I had at least 150-200 FPS in the old season from Fortnite. I'm currently playing Fortnite with all the lowest settings. Resolution 1920x1080
If you can't get your games to run smoothly with the hardware, the biggest problem is in front of the monitor. Who knows what you have set there.
And with the hardware you currently have, it would be almost hammered to buy new hardware now. If so, I would wait until all the new releases have come onto the market. That means Intel, AMD CPUs and GPUs and Nvidia. Should everyone come this year.
I didn't actually set anything except overclocked my GPU via MSI Afterburner and overclocked my CPU to 3.9 GHz
Here are a few comparison values from Fornite:

On FHD with Max Settings, the 1070 has 90FPS on average. How high is the load on the GPU while playing?
The system is okay. The RAM is relatively slow, which is a problem with the Ryzen processors. An upgrade makes only limited sense here
From time to time, 100% liquid runs smoothly or freeze.
With the new setup of Windows you will certainly have helped a lot.
What does it mean only makes limited sense?
Set that up again with Windows. Hmm then I would have to delete everything! Bleak!

It has nothing to do with your hardware. Even with an i9 9900K, 32GB RAM and an RTX 2070 Super, I have the same problem, as do many other players. There's nothing you can do about it, because it's up to the game.
Then it is definitely not the hardware. Something is obviously wrong at the software level and that can be anything. Since we can't go through everything, my recommendation → clean reinstallation.
As long as you don't format your hard drives when you set up again, you can of course keep your data on the hard drive.
I also think because Chapter 1 Season 9 I still had over 180 FPS to over 200 FPS. The game has gotten so bad. You now need the best hardware to keep up with other players
Have I never made a video?
It often helps me to set the graphics settings to the highest and set the FPS limit to 30 frames per second and then to set everything back to normal values after a few seconds.
I will test it later
Sometimes it happens that when you update the graphics card driver, settings are sometimes changed in the driver setting. That's why you should check that after every new driver.
Where can I see the driver settings?
Right click on a free desktop location. Then on "Nvidia Control Panel". Then left in the menu on "Manage 3D settings". And there you can now ideally set your driver with the help of Google.
What can happen every now and then is that when you install a new driver, things like the "DSR factor" turn on. And when it is active, I believe that it simulates a higher resolution. And that costs a lot of performance, which logically has a negative effect on the fps values. But that's just an example.
For a worthwhile upgrade, you would have to take the Ryzen 7 3700x and faster RAM. It costs a lot.
Make a backup of the data beforehand
