Why do I have a bad ping in fortnite?

Your ping is okay, the path of the Internet to the website with the ping test is shorter than that to the Fortnite / Epic games servers. You can't change anything except switch to LAN cables when you use Wi-Fi or move near the server. The servers change, which is why the ping can always be different.

The ping to the server from "wieistmeineip" and the server from "fortnite" are not the same device and are therefore very likely not in the same place.

And so the ping is not the same either, because the ping arises from the route between your computer and the server, i.e. How many devices / hops are in between and how long is the line, and that is logically not the same here.

WLAN has no disadvantage when pinging over LAN.

How can I change this

What do you want to change there? You have a connection with your provider and from then on it is not up to you where your package goes. And the route to one server is longer and to another it is shorter. So you'd have to convince Epic that they are hosting Fortnite on denser servers to you.
