I'm Leon (15) and got a PC about 6 months ago. For 2 months now I've had the problem that my buildings are only displayed as built, then bugged away and only then placed correctly. I have a ping of 5 - 30 in creative mode and a 15 - 40 ping in public. I play with LAN cables. Friends of mine have a worse ping than me and they don't have the problem! I've already looked for solutions on the Internet, but my problem has never been there. As far as I know I don't have any input delai in Fortnite either. I don't have these problems in other games! Have a 240Hz monitor and play on a constant 240Fps. I don't see this problem with streaming, even though some people have the same ping as me. So I don't feel like the game anymore, but I want to keep going because I'm not that bad at the moment. My internet connection is also constant. If someone could help me there, it would be very nice. I also hope for meaningful and helpful answers! Since I want to get rid of that as quickly as possible, I ask for help.
It could be that you have not activated immediate building. If you have not activated it, you have to confirm the building in which you click the button again
Yes, I have to go to the building and then click the mouse button to confirm, but turning away only happens every third time or so.

Yes, I still have my old mouse here and that's paroblem with her too. Maybe I could try a new keyboard, but the input is not delayed there, only in the buildings that are on my mouse button.
If you also have this problem with other games, it is probably due to the settings where you are not in fortnite and otherwise it has something to do with your PC
