I have had a PC for two weeks, Fortnite runs fairly smoothly, but as soon as certain situations occur, everything jerks and it is mega delayed.
Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-9400F CPU @ 2.90 GHz (6CPUs) -2.9GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER
As a piece of information, I've tried almost everything to give my PC more power and Fortnite to run smoothly, all without success.
My graphics card is overclocked to the maximum, it has clearly brought something, but in the crucial situations you can still feel a mega delay in-game.
It can be because of the processor, right? Is that too bad for Fortnite?
Of course, in Fortnite I have everything on the lowest settings. It's almost always a constant 120 FPS, but it is still mega delayed and lagged when editing in the end game or in the build fight. I'm really at the end of my game, I can only help myself by installing a different processor.
Sounds more like RAM overload. How much do you have in it?
If 16 GB. How fast? If less: buy more.
The processor should be enough and the GPU anyway.
Have only 8 GB of RAM then it may be because of it, right?
Yep probably.
