I've played Fortnite again for years and what can I say. I never used to have problems with fps and background programs while playing Fortnite. Meanwhile, my Discord is lagging quite heavily and has a delay. I also set discord to high in the Tast Manager, but that doesn't help either. Fortnite itself actually works quite well, but almost nothing works while I play Fortnite on my PC. When I click on the Windows search, it takes half a minute until I can even enter anything. It amazes me a lot because, for example, Ark runs completely smoothly on large servers and the background programs such as e.g. Discord run smoothly. Could it be that my PC does not get along well with Battle Royale games because, for example, Warzone is also not playable with my computer? Here are the technical data of my computer:

or e.g. A more expensive AMD setup with:
Ryzen 5 5600X and any B550 motherboard

The Intel Kombi is currently at 360 euro
The AMD Kombi 400-450 euro, depending on which MB. You could switch to a cheaper AMD processor of the somewhat older generation, but in the price-performance comparison I would tend towards the Intel Combi! You will have fun with it for a few more years!
Incidentally, my Kupel also has the I5 10600k with the Z490 Gaming Plus. I can only recommend it!
