Fortnite lagging despite good PC?

I have a question, my Fortnite has been lagging since the last update. Again and again such stoppers. Why is that, Fortnite always ran smoothly?

Geforce gtx 1060 with 6gb. And the intel i7-7700k with 16gb ram

how many use your internet?

which programs are running in the background?

which router do you have? What bandwidth is available?
