I plan to upgrade my CPU because I can no longer play Fortnite with my CPU and I plan to become more professional in Fortnite. My specs are: Mainboard: H110H4-EM2, CPU: Intel i5-7400 @ 3.00GHz. I have no idea about that. Do you have any tips or suggestions? I heard if I want to get a new CPU I also need a new mainboard. I would be willing to give more information (if necessary).

This is not necessarily due to the CPU. What else have you built into the computer? So graphics card / RAM.

And the mainboard does not have to be replaced, insofar as it is a processor that supports the chipset and socket.

Re

But it is because of the CPU, because when I open the Task Manager, the CPU is most busy

So if you want to keep the motherboard, you can go to a maximum of one i7 7700 or 7700K on the H110 chipset. You won't get more out of the platform.

The CPU should manage the game without any problems, it is exactly within the recommended requirements (i5 with 2.8 GHz).

Re

Then what can it be? Because when I open the Task Manager, the CPU is at its most busy. Can you clean it somehow or something? Does that bring anything?

pi

The CPU itself does not have to be cleaned, but the cooler / fan every now and then. It may be that it is because the CPU gets too hot, it clocks down automatically.

What budget do you have available?
An AMD Ryzen 5 1600 AF with B450 board would be cheap. You can keep your RAM.

Re

The budget doesn't matter. The main thing is that it works properly.
