I'm considering buying the CS: GO Battle Pass but I'm not so sure because I do not know if you can get the second battle pass "for free". In Fortnite you get so much V Bucks that you can get the next Battle Pass if you play through the previous one, exactly the same system in Rocket League or PubG.
In CS: Go, however, I buy the BAttle Pass with 13 euro. I get the amount back somehow in keys because I don't want to pay 13 euro for the items that in the end everyone has.
It's a coincidence that you end up getting a profitable amount. There's basically a pool of rewards that you can get. If you are unlucky, you will get items that run towards 0.03 euro and if you are lucky, you will also get one or two more expensive items.
The chance that you really make a profit (or get the money back in) is abnormally low.
As @ smashhit81 said it is coincidental. You get drops from the three collections and you still need the box for the box. The box is just about 60 cent value so they are also quite ok for sale. It's more of a coincidence if you go out with a profit, but I've already drawn Wilde Lile (90 euro) so it was worth it for me. So you have to decide it yourself, I personally think the pass is cool but that's why I bought it.
