The game Hytale is often referred to as the gallows minecraft. Do you really think that the Minecraft, which has been in existence for 10 years, will hardly be played afterwards and that Hytale will prevail? Or will it be short-lived like the Fortnite hype?
The new Fortnite. Hypixel messed it up with the Minecraft Anticheat and the Client Devs will come and develop software so that the hackers rob the Legits of the fun. : D
Just like CubeWorld and Fornite, this will only be a short hype. Hytale will not go away completely, but will not be in first place.

First of all, it depends on how good Hytale gets, only a trailer doesn't say much. But I can well imagine that both games run side by side similar to the BattleRoyale titles.
I honestly don't understand short-term hype like Fortnite. I don't like the game, but Fortnite's hype was very long, with one of the longest in the gaming field that is still going strong. One must not forget that Fortnite is almost 3 years old, where is that "short" please.

Minecraft hype got pretty slow and only got bigger over time. Nor would I say that Minecraft had a hype for a full 10 years.
There were times when you hardly heard anything from the game because Mojang needs ages for content.
