Ps4 initialize what does that mean?

Hello jmd can tell me what to initialize means I have to do it on my ps4 and know that everything will be deleted but also my data in the online memory deleted such as my fortnite progress and my gta online lvl and so I spent over 2000 euro so habr i'm just scared.

Online advances are never deleted, they are stored on servers, for example your GTA account and progress is stored on Rockstar Games servers, so you have to log in to play online!

The same applies to Fortnite, your account and progress are stored on Epic Games servers.
