Is a scuf controller important in the game?

Since I have been playing fortnite for some time now and I count myself among the better percentiles of the game I just wanted to ask if a scuf at fortnite is very worthwhile or superfluous?

With CoD or Boyfriend I can still understand that. But Fortnite?

After a while nobody will play anymore. See Minecraft. Well, if you want one, get it. But I do not think that's necessary now.
