Currently I own a 1050ti oc windforce gigabyte, this is about 1/2 year old and I wanted to ask if it is worth upgrading to a Rx 570?
I mainly play Csgo, Pubg, Rainbow 6, Fortnite (once in a while) and NBA 2019 as well as car racing games… All in Full HD 19201080p. I get over 60fps in all games, but have a freesync monitor and also an AMD CPU
Now the question is whether it is worthwhile for me to upgrade, or wait for newer generations of graphics cards. Or it is not worth it.
No, that's not worth it. Will not bring you anything except that you have spent money. If then take a RX590 the cost at the moment only around the 230 euro and get even more RE2 remake and The Division 2 for free
But rather rx 590 than waiting for new generation
Yes. Take the 590 now or wait for the new generation. And by the way, FreeSync will soon also be running on Nvidia cards.
Not really worth it. You can also use FreeSync with your nVidia card.
In principle, this can be quite worthwhile, since the graphics chip of the RX 570 is theoretically only about 15% slower than that of the RX 580, but the average overall performance is still at least about 50 to 60% above an average GTX 1050Ti settle.
You only have to see if your power supply meets the electrical requirements of the RX 570 Vs. GTX 1050Ti can also shoulder.
My power supply has 400w and I have as a processor the ryzen 5 1600
Also with ner 1050ti?
Which PSU do you have exactly? (Manufacturer and model)
An average RX 570 with factory OC
(e.g., the Sapphire RX 570 Nitro + 8GD5)
requires about 130 to 140 watts more power from the power supply than an average GTX 1050Ti.
Be quiet system power 9 400w
Yes.
How is that possible?
That is explained enough in the net. Install the latest driver, turn on nVidia Control Panel, done.
It even works.
This is already marginal at least in the peak load range. But I better recommend a stronger PSU with about 500 watts in the system - / or Pure - Power model series for the best possible load stability.
Since your system - Power 9 but has at least the 6 most important protection circuits, you could at least temporarily transiently try on this PSU with a RX 570 at least in partial load with frame limiter.
All right, but have seen in many videos this combination say r5 1600 rx 570 and 400w
It can come at maximum spread but quite in the peak load range then quite easy to instabilities to power supply shutdowns. (especially on RX 570 models with noticeable OC and generously dimensioned power target, ex works)
But as I said, transitional you can try it because your system - Power 9 has the most important protection circuits, and if overloaded altogether, would shut down on one of the 2 12V rails or overheating and undervoltage due to overload if necessary.
I would then just take it easy to start in maximum Leistungsausreizung such a card s.der PSU. (I do not even speak of manual OC)
Subject misses the rx570 is 50 percent faster than the rattle box…
Yes and? Everything under 100% extra power is not an upgrade in my opinion, which is worthwhile.
Yes there must ne 2080 ago… 50 percent more power is already more than enough to notice a difference
But not enough, that it justifies the cost. In my eyes, of course.
