I could just get the above components in a Lenovo IdeaPad for 400 euro at MediaMarkt. Is that a good offer? And is the I5 also suitable for e.g. A round of Minecraft on high or a round of Fortnite on low settings? I would be very happy to receive an answer, and also Merry Christmas! 😀

I would say the price is right. He won't make Minecraft in high. Minecraft is more resource hungry than you think. Fortnite should go low, but I can promise nothing, integrated graphics are not very good.

However, the laptop may come later than indicated. I bought a convertible for Black Friday and it should not come until the end of January because Intel is currently having delivery problems.

Merry Christmas for now. First of all you have to see what kind of graphics card is inside. My father has an i5 in his laptop and Minecraft ran smoothly. Even with larger modpacks, the performance was sufficient. Fortnite is something else again. Of course, the graphics card also has something to do with the performance, but I think you won't get 150 fps, but a few rounds should be easy to play. I guess you will use the laptop for school or work. Just have to see if the laptop also has a Hdd because otherwise the memory could run out at some point. Of course you can also attach an external Hdd. Lg David

It is a regional offer with us, only available on the 27th from 7 am to 10 am, as a "breakfast cracker" in the market.

It would be better to get an AMD Ryzen Mobile with integrated graphics (AMD Vega). The Intel devices are now trying to sell so that other shops have space for new goods in the warehouse. Not infrequently, the devices are also offered below the purchase price, the main thing is that the stuff goes away. That's why you should be careful not to fall for avoidable bargains, especially when it comes to an Intel or Intel / Nvidia solution.

2019 is the year of AMD NOT Intel and it will remain that way in 2020. New APU models from AMd (AMD Ryzen Mobile) of the 4XXX series have also been presented and Asus and some others have already launched a couple of models on the market. You can see what a second generation AMD Ryzen APU can do for desktops in this video:

And that's just the desktop version. The mobile versions are even a bit better

A model like Lenovo's Think Pad E585 or E595 is such a candidate. I bought the E595 this year with the AMD Ryzen Mobile 3700U version in it. I'm just thrilled with the part. Together with an M.2 with 512 Gb, 16 Gb Ram and a 2 TB SSD disk, this is a great device for mobile use.

So fortnite goes very low? 😅 I will mainly use it for school, my old one with an I5 3rd generation and 400gb HDD is slowly giving up. I would use it as the main storage location anyway.

Jo

Ok then it should be enough.

I currently also have a somewhat older thinkpad. Could you send me a link? I just don't find anything on Amazon.

Es

You shouldn't look at Amazon either, but directly at the manufacturer. You can also find the models there. You can't find good laptops on Amazon.

Sorry if I'm so stupid, but where do I crave the price? I mean I don't have to buy something on cramp, I just thought it might be a good deal

Es

Take a look at the page there there's a link to it, you have to configure it first as you need it, then you can also see the price of what it costs.

click on the blue icon "ACCESS" in the green bar

There's also the E595 model from the same manufacturer.

Thank you!

I just put it together like this (E595, E585 were no longer available) and come with 512gb SSD, without HDD and without operating system to 580 euro. What did you pay?

Es

I paid more, but with a few discounts with 2 tem power supply and a matching leather bag I got 1050 euro. 2 M.2 with 512 GB and a 2 TB SSD and 16 GB Ram were included.
