Is the pc good?

So I wanted to build myself a gaming PC and have not that much idea and therefore wanted to ask for advice here. I put one together and want to play smoothly at 1080p 144 fps (Rainbow six Siege, Fortnite, Csgo, Pubg, Roblox, Black Ops 3/4, Gta 5, Minecraft Fall guys, secret Neigbor.

Of course I can't play everything at 144fps but I would like that with the first 4.

I put this PC together and wanted to ask whether I would get the desired performance with it. My monitor should be the Viewsonic VX2458-C-MHD.

be Quiet! Pure Base 500 case

MSI B450-A PRO MAX

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz

AMD Ryzen 5 3600x 4.4GHz Am4

Sharkoon SHP Bronze 600 Watt, PC power supply, 80 Plus Bronze

SanDisk SSD PLUS 1TB Sata

Seagate BarraCuda 2 TB HDD

KFA2 26ISL6HP39SK nVidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super OC 8GB

do

Excellent!

Vi

No problem, but would use the RX 5700xt, which gives you a whole lot more FPS, especially in triple A titles. Also costs the same.

If you still have a few euro left I would take the i5 10600k or 9600k, which is better for your needs. If not the better CPU then take the 3600 without X and the 5700xt.

ca

1. It is not future proof

2. The CPU is unnecessary, prefer the Ryzen 5 3600

3. The mainboard is scrap.

Otherwise he's quite good.

Jo

1. Why?
2. That's just 12 euro extra and in the benchmarks with the 3600x you had 10-20 more fps

3. What about the MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX
I would like to use the PC for at least 5 years without having to change anything

ca

1. The GPZ is already old, so I would take an RX5700XT.

2. These 10-20fps can be recovered by overclocking.

3. B450 is junk, remember that. For 2020 B450 is just junk. If you want to gamble then take a B550 board

Jo

Which mainboard would you recommend to me?

ca

It depends on which manufacturer and which mainboard budget

Jo

I don't care about the manufacturer, budget 100 euro

ca

How can you care about the manufacturer?

Do you want to install about 20 pieces of software to be able to start your PC at all?

Jo

I don't know my way around very well, what does the manufacturer have to do with it?

mi

Your PC is almost perfect for your requirements and wishes. These are the best components in terms of price / performance / quality.

Only one thing: Use a good power supply, such as BeQuiet Series 11, Seasonic Focus, Enermax, etc.

And the Ryzen 3600 without x is completely sufficient and already manages 140 FPS in AAA games. The one with x then 143 FPS. πŸ˜‚

Smith's tip below about the AMD 5700 XT: Yes, you get + 10% more performance for the same price, but with this series there are more problems / defects and around 13% are sent back. That's why I find the RTX 2060 Super the better choice.

mi

Please stay factual! There's absolutely no reason to call the MSI B450 junk. Why don't you explain what disadvantage the B450 is supposed to have compared to the B550 ?!

PCI 4.0? - that will definitely take until 2030 before you can even benefit from PCI 4.0.

Jo

Could you send me the link from the RX 5700 xt. I can only find some for 420-440. And with the 2060 super, I found one for 390.

Jo

Is it worth taking the risk with the RX 5700 xt. After all, I want to use the PC for at least 5 years without having to change anything

mi

I would take the RTX 2060 for myself, because it is quieter and needs less power. Personally, I also prefer the nVidia driver, and they have DLSS 2.0, etc.

But there are definitely other users who would recommend AMD, and 13% response also means that 87% do not send back. 😊

If you want to take the 5700, take at least https://www.mindfactory.de/...59912.html which has an excellent cooler installed. πŸ‘ 😊

Jo

Oh, OK, thanks for the answer. Could you send me a link to RX 5700 xt I don't find any of the 2060 super at the same price. Here is the 2060 super which ch meant https://www.amazon.de/...07W4ZDD1S/

ca

I'm sorry that I don't always stay objective, but these Pc beginners really upset me. B450 is in the sense of "scrap" because such mainboards are more than 3 years old and are still used, as many save on the mainboard. However, I think that the mainboard should not be saved! Otherwise problems like:

"Where can I connect my RGB connection? Mainboard: b450 Xy"

"Mainboard B450 XY gets very hot when I overclock, help!"

"Where is the USB Type C port on the MSI B450 Tomahawk motherboard"

"Do I need a BIOS update after all? Brand XY B450 XY"

In my opinion, you should pay at least 100 euro for a mainboard. But then not for a B450 mainboard, which the future CPUs will not support, but a B550 mainboard, which you have at least Pcie 4.0 and this mainboard can still be used in 5 years.

mi

I gave you the word "the XFX Triple" as a link in my comment above, just click on it and you will find the best offer from Mindfactory. 😊

PS: I wouldn't buy hardware from Amazon, it often costs + 10% more there.

Jo

Ok, thank you for the tip.

mi

OK, then at least I understand what you mean. So with the stripped-down mainboads like A320, I see it just like you. But the B450s are already very neat.

In particular the series: MSI B450 MAX is very good. The voltage converters are excellent, Ryzen 3000 support is guaranteed ex works, and the boards are not 3 years old but were only manufactured from 2020, so they are very current.

Jo

Should I order everything on mindfactory, or that is also possible with Geizhal, I heard that you can always find the cheapest prices there.

mi

My tip is Mindfactory, this is a good German shop that offers almost the cheapest prices. If you buy everything together you only pay 1x postage. There's even postage free between midnight and 6 a.m.

Geizhalz finds the best offer from many different shops. If you take this, you have to take the postage into account, not that you have 6 EUR postage for each individual component afterwards. πŸ˜‰

Jo

What does postage mean?

mi

Shipping. 😊

Jo

I'm not building the PC yet, so it would be worth waiting until the price of the 2000 cards goes down and then I get more performance for my budget.

mi

Yes, you should only order when you 1) have enough money for all components at once and 2) then assemble the PC directly.

In general, of course, one always says: Yes, please wait. But there's always a reason to wait. This year the RTX 3000 graphics cards are coming. When they are out, it's worth waiting again, because the new AMD graphics cards will come soon. The prices will definitely be cheaper again. And then in April 2021 there will certainly be another reason to wait because something new is coming out soon. πŸ˜‚

Jo

When will the prices get cheaper? Not that the 2000 tickets are then sold out.

Vi
Jo

Thank you

Vi

This is the one I have too. It doesn't get hot and you can't hear it with headphones either. You can of course also use another model

Vi

I think the highest temperature was almost 80 degrees after about 8h Assassains Creed Odyssey and outside it was also 40 degrees ^ - ^. With good airflow and normal outside temperatures, I usually don't get over ~ 70 degrees

Jo

So with with it will be a maximum of 30 degrees. So I don't have to worry if I played 10 o'clock.

Vi

At 80 you don't have to worry, at 90 you should think about better cooling.

mi

Nobody can say exactly, but I suspect that the 2000 cards should be available until April 2021.

I wouldn't wait around forever…

Jo

Would November to December be too late because I would also like to see if the prices for goods get cheaper on Black Friday? And you said that mindfactory would be postage free from midnight to 6 a.m. Does that mean that I don't have to pay shipping costs?

ke

The setup is so very solid. A few optimizations can still be made:

Power supply: choose beQuiet Pure Power 11 500 watts
Processor: taking a non-X variant is just as good
Graphics card: the AMD RX 5700XT should offer significantly more performance for the same money

Jo

Have chosen the 600w is that also possible? I changed the processor to the i5 9600k and I also changed the graphics card

mi

No December is definitely not too late! Black Friday sounds like a great idea!

Exactly, if you order from Mindfactory after midnight, you will get everything without shipping costs!

I did it that way back then! 😊

Jo

I also have 16% VAT, i.e. 171.52 euro. Do I have to pay that extra?

mi

VAT is always included in the total price: E.g. 1000 EUR purchase price, of which 160 EUR are VAT.

Jo

Oh so ok luckily, I thought I had to pay the 171 euro
