Fortnite takes up too much space?

It's not normal that Fortnite needs 80GB, is it? The game needed 75GB, after reinstalling 80GB, now I can't even play it with lags as before because I can't even download it: / Unfortunately, my SSD has only 111GB and is compatible with Windows, Chrome and co. Completely crowded (1.3GB left). I tried to delete EVERYTHING except Windows. There's NOTHING on the hard drive, I just don't know what to do. What can I do against it?

Uninstall and play something good.

I had the same problem before.

You could buy an external SSD or a cheaper HDD.

Yes nice but please keep your hate to yourself

Apart from buying an external hard drive, nothing helps, the game will certainly get even more GB in the future. So 1 or 2TB hard drive.

What does the "game" need so much memory for?

What 75GB… Is actually around 51GB. You should uninstall the game completely in both the settings and the Epic Games Store.

I've already done that… Has brought nothing.

The same thing happened with me. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it 3 times. Nothing changed

Is this only for those who do it on SSD. I had a laptop which waa completely HDD and it never asked this. But the new one has SSD and it asks for 80 GB

i thing it is because of all the skins. I cud be rong but if we need to have every textur for the skeens in the game it will probabliy just grou in size more end more. I'm not sure about that the shoud meke us instal all the skins on tamand while we are plaing or they coud have all that skins in a local storage, i dont know

To find out how much space Fortnite takes up on PC, check your hard drive s available storage capacity or open the Steam app and view what percentage of your PC s hard drive is being used. Some people run into problems when they go to play Fortnite and their PC says the game is taking up too much space. There could be an issue with your computer, or it could just be that you need to free up a little extra room on your hard drive.

Did you solve the problem now?
