If you play a game on full hd on a 27 inch wqhd monitor, for example. Fortnite to get more fps.
Would there be any disadvantages or would it run smoothly?
The display:
In my experience there are no disadvantages. My monitor is of very high quality and outputs a maximum of 980 FPS (in Minecraft).
You already know that you only get as much FPS as you have Hertz?
And the picture is with a 27 inch monitor at full hd arrangement?
There's only one disadvantage without performance-harvesting attributes: It just doesn't look as good as in WQHD. In return, it probably runs more smoothly
Is not a disadvantage, is like playing on a full hd monitor monitor
I'm aware. But most of the monitors between 20 and 30 inches that I saw had at least 120 Hertz. Which is easily enough for 500 FPS.
It is the same as a standard full hd 27 inch monitor
Yes.
Just looked at me again. If you want to scale down a wqhd, 4 pixels become one pixel. So that means 720p would be the next best resolution. You can just turn the 3d resolution down in game, then it should run a little better…
the graphics card of your PC would output the picture in full Hd, but the screen can't show full hd resolution, so the monitor rescales this full hd so that the picture fits
