Is there any way to stretch the game on a 4: 3 monitor? And if so how?
Stretching goes (with me) on the monitor. There's a button that allows you to draw a 4: 3 game to 16:10. Imagine like chewing gum being pulled apart. (So my monitor is 16:10, the game was 4: 3)
You can adjust your monitor with a 16: 9 resolution. For example, 1280x720.
Problem: You now have thick cinema bars at the top and bottom.
Yes, exactly this resolution. I honestly have no idea how that should work, because all the tutorials I've seen related to 16: 9 and 16:10 monitors respectively.
What is he stretching because if he already has a 1280x1024 resolution? Right, nothing. If so then he would have to go 1024x1024 or so and then stretchen
Then have to go to 1024x1024 or so. Looks extremely bad.
So you want to suggest stretching from 4: 3 to 3: 2?
I think he wants 16: 9 / 16:10 or even 21: 9
Do you know what stretches means? I do not think so.
Let's say you have 1920x1080 then you make yourself a Custom Resoultion such as 1440x1080 and you STRETCHED the 1440 to 1920. With the aim that models in the game seem wider, because the image is stretched.
And how you get to 21: 9. Do you know how that would look on a 1280x1024 screen? You would probably have 10cm bars up and down
In addition, 1024x1024 is not 3: 2 but 1: 1
