:) I get a new monitor every day the question is of course which one, I picked 2 btw, gambled fortnite in the esports and tournament area and therefore I wanted to ask whether flat or curved is better, because nobody uses curved but these are the ones 2 monitors: https://www.saturn.de/...ct-ratings https://www.saturn.de/...17153.html And I know the AOC 24g2u5 / BK is better in general But why is it cheaper?
If you don't play any of the above:
Not 144hz but 240hz.
Not Va / ips panel but TN.
Not curved but flat.
Otherwise don't care and buy the cheaper one.
I would take the curved and they don't give each other much.
Whether curved or flat is up to you is a matter of taste.
The AOC 24G2U is better thanks to the IPS panel.
I play with above, 1k earnings Top 5000 ratings in cashcups… But not everyone uses or needs 244hz If you know your way around the name Karey can be familiar or if you know players and clans in fortnite then I can tell you mine and mine duo m8 I did 1vs1 + boxfights against a couple of apocalypto and antlantis player + I fought against letshee (professional gamer) who played at the top of the best with 100k euro or so in prize money, 3 1 against me and Trunks (someone else) got against my duo m8 10 6 lost + was pick axed but I'm talking too much of my life again. And thank you for taking the time to be a nice boy, but please tell me if you play fortnite yourself or so that I can assess you and which of the 2 you would get, thanks in advance
So letshee lost 3 1 against me season 10 games double clow and keyboard
From 144Hz it doesn't really make much sense anymore, because high power is needed.
IPS / VA is definitely better than TN.
Curved or flat is a matter of taste.
240hz of course requires corresponding CPU performance is not a problem in fortnite.
IPS / VA are absolute slurry in the application area because of the high reaction times (what is written on them is not included).
Curved because of me, but I see only disadvantages if at all - optics are taste. Clear.
How do you get CPU performance? Of course this also plays a role, but the main role is played by the graphics card.
And I think to doubt that the questioner uses a good graphics card because he wants to spend 200 euro for a monitor.
Good monitors adhere to what is written on paper. But if you still think that an IPS / VA monitor has 5ms more than a TN panel, it is completely sausaged. On average, a person has a response time of over 200ms. Then there's the internet, keyboard, mouse, server, etc. The few ms make little or no difference.
In the competitive area, eh mostly play low details and co. Therefore GPU less relevant.
I do not doubt that because he gets bold prizes.
You have no idea, no offense. VA panels e.g. In the case of dark scenes, reaction times are definitely longer than 30ms, what is written on the paper is not a problem, even TN panels do not consistently achieve the specified 1ms, but rather 1-3ms. This is especially a problem if we have 144hz or 240hz monitors, because in some scenes the screen is not even finished with the image structure, because it is updated again - which leads to ghosting and streaks in the image - in addition to the higher response time, everything you do you don't want competitive games.
In terms of response time, it is not true, your information is wrong, but even if it were correct it would not matter, that applies to every player. With the same reaction time, internet connection, the one with the faster monitor wins, as soon as the prize money is up, no discussion is necessary - faster is better, defacto.
Actually, I'm using a GTX 1080ti on an i7 7700k and will soon be upgrading, thinking of a RTX 2070 super or somehow something like that, I also have other monitors, I also have a 4k monitor and so on
Ne 2070 super is not an upgrade of ner 1080TI.
