Fortnite starts / doesn't connect?

I know I have a lot of questions about Fortnite, but I want to play this game like I used to.

I have another problem that the game doesn't connect. With the new season, the loading screen has changed a bit.

Here is the history of what happens at startup:

Easy Anti Cheat Launcher (everything normal)
Establishes connection (everything normal [thanks to high priority in Task Manager])
Check for updates (all normal)
Search game… (everything OK)
Connection is being established (game crashes)

I imagine there are a couple of options. I would still think of reinstalling Fortnite again. If that doesn't work, then I have only two options left.

If anyone has a solution, I would be very helpful!

Maybe reinstall the game once or click on "Check" in the options of the game and let it run through…
