I unscrewed my Ps4 Pro and carefully took out the dust.
When I reconnected the Ps4, it was minimally quieter than before. It becomes very loud and hot even with the smallest games, e.g. Fortnite. In addition, the Ps4 sometimes hangs in the menu. Do you think thermal paste could be the reason for the overheating and the loud fan?
Or do you think it could be something else, if so please give me tips.
Hi
I'm not a player, but tinker a lot with devices. Did you take off the radiator or just cleaned it? I have heard from a well-known that the PS4 reaches its limits in newer games, e.g. The Last of US 2 because it is normal that it gets so loud.
Thank you
No, don't play newer games
I mostly play Battlefield 4, 1 and 5
If you have also removed the fan, a dust mat is happy to form behind it. This prevents the warm air from being expelled by the fan. Keeping the vacuum cleaner on doesn't help.
