Just play what you feel like as long as you enjoy it. The game is even played by people over the age of 25 and it is not a problem if you play it. Just ignore it and let them laugh quietly.
In my opinion, a well-worn children's game. Back then you only played it because there was nothing better.
The game is not new and at the beginning (season 1-3) it was fun.
Now epic games are all about making coal → Shoot out unnecessary skins, copy dances from YouTubers etc.
But if you enjoy it, there's no need to worry 😉

I personally don't have the game, but I did test it once and didn't feel like it after a game. Because I personally find it boring, but it doesn't have to be that way for everyone! But playing Fortnite isn't bad. But maybe it's just stupid to play it because everyone is playing it, or to appear particularly "cool". To show off or "feel" about it is just stupid.
