Why are so many Fortnite players getting mad when a skin comes back in the shop?
There's nowhere that the skin will be only once in the shop and never again
For example when the Wildcard Skin came back in the shop, many were angry and said "not my OG wildcard skin"
or when the footballer skins came back everybody said "not my OG soccer skin" yes
and behind that they still write "i don't play this game anymore"
But why is it like that? I mean it's just a skin what is so bad that an old skin comes back in the shop
So a skin that is very old shows that the player is very long. Since there are few who own such skins, these are very valuable. When they come in the shop they lose this rarity
Because they just assumed that the skin is issued only once and never again. Because then the skin shows how long you have been there, and many players are proud of it, and this rarity represents an added value for them. If the skin is later reissued, it loses this rarity, and players who already have the skin, then feel like something was taken away from them or the skin.
Although I do not play Fortnite myself, I do not quite keep an eye on Epic's politics, but skins themselves are nothing new. If there are such reactions, Epic has to decide if skins are always, only at certain times or only once available in the store. Otherwise, there's just disappointment and anger in the community.
