I just wanted to play a few rounds with my buddy and consumed 0.5 GB of data within 10 minutes. I usually use 100mb per hour.
Does anyone know what that is. I was only in the lobby and saw the data usage skyrocket
It's just an online game, it goes away quickly.
I said I normally need 100mb an hour
Okay then I don't know either.
Android has such a great feature, it means limiting data usage.
In this sense, only the app currently displayed would have internet access
An update was probably loaded there. It doesn't have to have anything to do with Fortnite. Can also have been a Windows update. Or any other program.
Nothing is shown to me in the task manager under Network
Now nothing is shown. But that doesn't mean it was the same when you played Fortnite.
That was due to the video that comes at the beginning when you start the game. I thought that was included in the game but it looks like you are just streaming it. Creative mode also consumes a lot of data in the lobby, since all the maps have to be loaded there
But I created a hotspot and connected it to my PC. How am I supposed to limit that? A game consumes as much as it consumes…
