I have massive problems while gambling with my Internet… Unfortunately, I can't get a LAN cable in my apartment because my room is at the other end. LAN connection I have not synonymous. Friends have advised me to get a powerline adapter… Does it really help? Are there any problems that could occur? And how many Mbps are useful? (Fortnite, please no hate xD)

Well if DLAN brings something you have to try. Depending on whether it remains in the same power grid or is separated by fuses - can bring something, but does not have to. Order on amazon a set try it out and if it does not work send it back within 30 days "not technically possible". Especially if you have not made the wiring yourself, how should you know if this can work or not?

Powerline can work without problems, but it does not have to.

It depends on the general conditions, so it is important how the individual sockets in the distribution box abut, how old the lines are and what else devices are hanging in the power grid.

I currently also use a powerline, because the radio link from my office in the basement is too far (and I had no desire / time to put network outlets).

The electricity installation (lines, distribution box) is 2 years old with us and still I have with the Powerline quite often dropouts and must him briefly off and again plug in (or wait 2 minutes). - A system, if the adapter "swallowed" is unfortunately not visible.

I would say that it's always worth a try (you can buy the adapter online and send it back within 14 days if it does not work). Alternatively, maybe a wireless repeater somewhere between your computer and the router would be possible.
