If someone has a YouTube video for example. Fortnite usually gets a lot more attention than a simulaltor game. Why is that?
Sim's are very specific, not everyone enjoys driving a train or plowing fields…

Because it's just simulators. So now it's just my opinion, but I find simulators boring
Most probably prefer shooters to simulators, which is kind of a shame. You can learn a lot more from simulators.

Even with Sims, I quickly get tired of playing as a player. And as a player I can at least shop diligently and expand. As a viewer, I imagine this to be even more boring.
Even with other Sims, you watch the plane fly. Wauw, if you are not vocally entertaining as a streamer / YouTuber, everyone will sleep away.
In Shooter, RPG, you have at least one interesting story, even if the YouTuber isn't great.
