I need help with my pc I gambled on fortnite the pc is supported twice and doesn't start anymore I have not removed and reinstalled everything does not work I unfortunately do not have a spare part to test it so when I try to switch off the PC it just presses the button for 0.5 sec blue and again it turns off the fan comes on and a money dot lights up on the mainboard I have loaded a picture can someone please please please help would be very nice of you
Then you broke something when installing and reinstalling. What kind of PC parts do you have?
Do you get a picture?
Have mainboard Asus p8z77-m and Dataland graphics card MS-Tech power supply
No, unfortunately it doesn't turn on and the fans don't run either
Does the fan of your power supply turn when the fan is switched on?
Power supply scrap
If your PC turns off, something seems to be wrong.
But of course, just turn it on again
This is because you play fortnite
All power supply cables in the right way? So put it right
the PC housing cable inserted in the correct position?
did you push out the fuse on the graphics card? So the small switch?
Which graphics card there are several and which processor and how much RAM and how fast is it?
Ne it doesn't turn but the yellow dot is on
And there are such small cables that go from the housing to the mainboard. Did you actually plug them in correctly?
Yes, I have the LED of the button goes on for 0.5 seconds and off again but it does not turn and no picture comes
Then it will probably be up to your power supply, so you have to get a new one.
Achso okii I have to save my money to buy a new one thanks for your help I have a question I have MS-Tech 550 Watt ATX PSU power supply I bought it on amazon but there's no more you could show me a different one on amazon know me because it doesn't look so good
https://www.amazon.de/...07W92T29L/ you should be well supplied with it.
Okii thank you will take a long time xd
Who built the PC together?
According to the picture, the spacers for mATX seem to be missing under the board.
I bought the pc on eBay small ad I don't know about PCs, maybe you could help me maybe it is not due to the power supply because when I turn it on the yellow dot lights up
I hope that will really help you. Otherwise you will unfortunately have to go to troubleshooting and this is complex. There are also a few videos on Youtube what you should check and so on.
I've already seen it, tried everything, nothing helped
You can see this hole at the bottom left of the board. Is there a spacer like the one below the board at the same width?
If not, the board can hit the back of the case and cause a short circuit.
So there was no hole underneath and it was as I bought it played 1 to 2 hours a day and then pc never came on again
Should I remove it and try to switch it off?
Yes, there's a hole in any case, I mean in the red circle, there should be a spacer like in the blue circle under the board, otherwise there may be a short circuit.
There's no one underneath
Then first remove the board, place the spacers correctly under all holes (the one under blue e.g. Can be used for this), reinstall the board and then test again.
The spacers can usually be turned in and out by hand with a little force.
Okii dankiii I will test it now hope it works I have been looking for a solution for 1 week
But it may be that your board was irreversibly damaged before, so it does not help 100%.
P.S. Correct all spacers, not just the ones shown.
See page 1-2 (table 12), point. 1.2.2 of the operating instructions:
Unfortunately I still try the same as I can send you a viedo
E.g. Upload and link to Youtube.
So that happens when I press the start button
Nothing else has changed since he left?
RAM already installed? (is not clearly visible on the video)
The CPU fan is already in the port, which is numbered 3 here (page 1-3, table 13, item 1.2.3), right?:
https://dlcdnets.asus.com/...8Z77_M.pdf
Otherwise the mainboard or power supply or both may be defective.
So if I put it in the plug and press the turn on button, the LED may be that the mainboard is broken
And I took everything out and put it back in as it was when I couldn't
Did the PC go by itself?
Yes went out by itself while I was in the game so twice
It won't start without RAM anyway, it has to be in there.
Btw.: Which power supply do you have?
I have ram in there
Have MS-Tech 550 watt ATX PSU
It may be that the pc with CPU core does not turn on so if it is broken
My mainboard is broken when I turn it on manually it doesn't work
and when I hold my hand on the button the yellow light in the mainboard blinks and when I don't press anymore it stops blinking then it only lights up yellow
Then there's actually something with the power supply
But when I press the button, the led turns on and off for 0.5 seconds, but nothing works
Go to a repair shop with the PC. They take care of it
It only costs 30 euro to look at the pc and tell if something is broken
Still better than if it stays broken forever?
Yes I save my money and then I fix it
