Fortnite character goes forward by itself?

I do not have automatic sprinting and yet my character is slowly moving forward…

I play on an xbox one x

Controller may be broken. Would have to play in other games or is it only in the one game?

Stick Deadband maybe set too low? Otherwise maybe the controller is really defective.

Apparently my controller is broken…

There you have to buy a new one or just screw it up and see if you can fix it yourself. You can't do more damage if you would have to buy a new one anyway.
