If you want to do something about it you have to delete it, in the case of Fortnite this is probably the best advice you can give.

Therefore, if you want to use an SSD, you should not choose too small, because nowadays games often require 50GB and more (easily up to 100GB).
You could compress the files. Then Fortnite takes up significantly less space. But it may be that the game takes a little longer to start.
You just have to click on the folder "C: \ Program Files \ EpicGames \ Fortnite" on the right. Then on "Properties / Advanced" and there you tick "Compress content". Then when you click OK it takes a while for the whole folder to be compressed. This should make it a lot smaller.
