Say that you already had an epic victory and usually always in the top 10, but lately weaker… ^^
I would just install the game and play a few laps, maybe you enjoy it. At some point, you will probably ask you anyway if you can play. Are you constantly looking for excuses? Otherwise, watch videos on YouTube / Twitch, whatever.
