How can I log in to Fortnite with my Ps4 account?

I had never created an Epic account, but always logged in via Ps4 (you don't need to create a new account for this). Now I have installed the game again after months and can't get into my account. It says "Sign in with your Epic account" but I don't have an Epic account. I always signed up directly via Ps4. What do I have to do to get my account back? If I skip the registration process, it will register me with a completely new account.

You have an epic games account, that's 100% secure. Just try to use the email from your ps4+ password

No I don't have an epic games account. So none with an email password etc. My account is directly connected to my Ps4, so I have no login details except my Ps4 data. And if I start at Ps4 fortnite, it says there I need my epic games account to register. There's no option with "register playstation account" or something.

If so, you can actually log in to Fortnite with any device via psn.
