Is to my knowledge a prerequisite for Fortnite.

You can connect this with various other accounts.

To do this, I think you have to go to Epicgames and sign up. Then you go to the account settings. Here you can see your linked accounts and add or remove them.

There you add now your Nintendo account which you also use on the Switch.

I have so successfully connected my Epic Games / Fortnite account to Xbox One, Switch, Twitch and more.
