Meal people,
have since the weekend a PC and quite a freshman. So far I have tested things like Fortnite, CSGO and The Division 1 could play everything at very high settings without any problems.
But what about Battlefield 5? There's unfortunately no demo to test.
to my PC:
CPU I7 3000 something with 3.4ghz in boost to 3.9
16GB DDR3 RAM
Graphics card is a GeForce GTX 1070 OC
would be great if someone could tell me if this could work with the system with reasonably ordinary attitude.
I have a similar setup.
i5-4570
GTX 1070 TI
16GB RAM
If I want to play BF5 on high or ultra the CPU is already running dry. The rest would easily pack it. Can be that with you the CPU also reaches its limits as it is an older i7. But should run smoothly at least on mid-high.
Thank you for the info. Yes I have the so pent up the PC and think would have to think about it ne new cpu etc to get a look
The Division 1 is already a brand. So if that works, also runs BF5. Every now and then a few limitations on large servers through the old CPU. But the 8 threads tear that out.
The 1070 is zero problem.
RAM is perfect
Graphics card is also enough for 2560 x 1440 resolution and high details
The limit value is the CPU. According to your description, it should be a Core i7-3770 (that is the only i7 of the 3000 series with 3.4 GHz base and 3.9 GHz Turbo clock).
Minimum requirement is a Core i5 6600K. It was released three years later, has a slightly higher clock and better processor architecture.
In my experience with friends with a Core i5 4670K (one generation later than your i7), 3.9 GHz clock are too little, even in the successor generation of your CPU, so that Boyfriend V runs smoothly. Since I had to overclock to 4.0 GHz, so annoying Freezes disappeared every 20 seconds.
I'm afraid that your CPU will not be enough for Boyfriend V, at least not for big multiplayer maps.
