Hi
I have a problem with my pc. My Samsung headphones don't record any sound. When I play Fortnite with my Kollleg he hears my Pc audio. So when I get a notification on my PC he hears it. He doesn't hear my voice. I have a Windows PC. What should I do?
Headphones usually do not record any sound, a microphone is responsible for this.
But I have a laptop where the headphones go. I've already phoned them.
But the funny thing is. My colleague hears my pc sound. So when I hear a video, he also hears the video.
What are the connections of your laptop and what kind of headphones have you infected?
Your laptop has a built-in microphone. You can communicate with a laptop without the need for extra headphones and / or an extra microphone.
Your PC has no built-in microphone.
I assume that it is really only headphones and not a headset with headphones and microphone.
The PC can't select a microphone as the source because there's none available and therefore it probably sends "What you hear" through the line. Then your counterpart hears exactly what comes out of your speakers (headphones).
You probably just plugged headphones into the audio output and so a simple cell phone headset. Then he picks up the audio output from the PC…
