EpicGames has offered in-app purchases in the Google Play Store version or in the iOS version via their own website, as is already the case in the Galaxy Store or EpicGames Store version. Here the entire income goes to EpicGames or low fees to the payment method operator such as PayPal or Visa.
Since the external in-app purchases violate the guidelines of the Play or App Store, Fortnite was kicked out of the Play Store and App Store. Fortnite is still available on Android via the Galaxy Store or EpicGames Store.
EpicGames has filed a lawsuit against Google and Apple because of the requirement that in-app purchases must be made via Google and Apple.
I think EpicGames's aggressive tactics can do good too. Google and Apple lose their monopoly status.
