Now the Ps4 had an update a good 1 to 2 weeks ago and since then it has almost continuously lagged, stuttered and the yellow and red (whereby the red appears more frequently) connection signs.
The ping, however, remains constant at around 15-25ms
Have a look on one day the Europe server says 20ms and on another 160ms or so…
Unfortunately we don't have a PC, can or does someone know what might be the cause?
Is it "only" picture stuttering in the sense of missing FPS or "only" lags in the sense of the Internet? Or both?
Have you ever tried restarting the router?
Unplug the router for about 30 seconds, plug it in again, set up the Internet connection again in the "Network" menu of the PlayStation and hope that the error has disappeared.
Otherwise it is probably due to the servers.
It's about picture laggs, for example jumping over a fence and suddenly bowing back, then picture jerking in any movement…
Every now and then in the group it is less then more, but as soon as the connection problems are there, it also lags in the talk party on the Ps4 …
It must be said that everything is flawless in other games, only in fortnite

It all sounds like the servers are overloaded. Does the PlayStation have a WLAN or LAN connection?
If you don't have a LAN connection, try that. If necessary, you can (also) buy a Wi-Fi amplifier (such as Devolo) and connect the PlayStation to it.
Otherwise, the PlayStation will restart; reinstalling the game may help.
Playing over a LAN connection and there have never been any problems, only since the last update of the Ps4 and are currently reloading the game, otherwise we did everything we can 😅

Maybe Emoji Son is playing on another server so not on auto (Europe) or the memory is too full I play on Ps4 and Pc myself
