It always lies. Many of you know it for sure. The PING. Always a 200 to 500th. LAN cable goes through the whole house. I thought about buying an amplifier. Do you think that helps?
The router has a limited impact on latency. If you are connected directly to the router by cable, the values are much too high.
Ping your router and reveal the values
What do you mean by ping your router?
Apart from the fact that there's no 7640, the problem is certainly not your router, but if the ISP, or that you are generally too far from the server to which you are connected.
Any accessories will not help.
Open the Windows command prompt and enter the following and execute with enter
Ping -n 30 Fritz.box
But an amplifier
What kind of amplifier? Are you talking about repeaters? What should they bring if you are connected to the router by cable?
Right, nothing!
Repeaters also do not amplify anything, they only extend the range of WLAN signals.
And if you don't have mesh devices then the speed will even halve.
So what?
Again… It will be more up to your ISP!
You should do a speed test!
