I need help I want to put a new video card and memory I have to consider something important? So not that if I have something installed z.b the two ram sticks do not harmonize or something so yes I come to the actual topic

I once ordered a "gaming" pc and would like to upgrade it now and I need help

I have a 4Gb ddr4 RAM memory if I would install it, then I would not have any problems? https://www.mediamarkt.de/...72845.html

and I want to add another graphics card which should I get https://www.mediamarkt.de/...75833.html here https://www.mediamarkt.de/...07853.html or here https://www.mediamarkt.de/...75819.html

I have an I5 7400 4x 3.0ghz

With the pc I want to play mainly Fortnite smoothly (!)

ex

These days you should definitely have 8GB of graphics memory, otherwise it will be tight with new titles.

The RX580 is not a bad graphics card, so I would recommend this to you.

The RAM bars, fit in, buy the best 8 GB version or just 16 GB.

Ch

So you have a "gaming" PC with 4GB of RAM? ^^ Well, that's it. Would be interesting to know what kind of PC that is. It will be a failure, then the power supply.

The cards all need extra power through a 6 or 8 pin connector or even two of them. If your PC is any office PC, then probably that's not because your power supply has no corresponding port. And since the manufacturers like to use their own network part layouts, you can't just install such a stronger PSU.

That would mean that you are dependent on a graphics card without additional power and that would be hot GTX 1050 Ti, then it goes nothing.

EDIT: Oh yeah, once you click on one of the polls, you can't take it out…

Hy

Thank you for your comment, do you think I should get 2x8 gib? What about my 1x4 gb ram stick?

ex

It does not matter how much GB they have. As long as it is DDR4, you can actually kick in every RAM bar.

pi

The RX 580 is currently the best choice, the RX 570 is a bit weak for the future and the GTX 1060 has only 6 GB VRAM and is more expensive.

pi

Do not know what you mean with 4GB, but I suspect an additional 4GB buy, so = 8 GB? Is not optimal, but is enough.

Hy

I ordered a "Gaming" PC from agando and my PSU is the 400W Silent PSU

ex

He already owns the 4 GB RAM bar. He should buy the best still 2x 8 GB.

Ch

That is very meaningful now. After all, it is then a standard device and could easily be replaced, as I know Agando, the part is garbage.

Do you know any other identifier or could you otherwise open the PC and take a picture of the sticker on the power adapter?

Hy

Have a picture but how should I show this

Hy

I have an MSI h110m eco mainboard would I still be able to install another 4gb ram stick without any problems? Would this dual channel then be possible?

Qu

Send the PC back if you can.

Hy

Unfortunately not possible anymore

Hy

I5 7400 4x3.0 ghz

ex

I'm assuming that your motherboard has 4 RAM slots. So you can also install 4 RAM bars. Usually up to 64 GB of RAM is supported. If you want to use dual-channel, in any case with Slot 1 and Slot 3 must be a RAM bar, the rest does not matter.

Hy

No my mainboard had 2 such plugs where you the memory purely does that I meant it

edit I think three but I'm not sure you can look again

ex

So your motherboard has only two RAM slots? Then buy 2x 8 GB or just 2x 16 GB, take out the old and build the new one, done.

Hy

I would be reluctant to spend more money so if 8gb would already be enough then I would stay at 8gb (let you again my answer before, edit)

ex

Well, maybe not three. Either 2 or 4 … Or just 8 (actually have only server motherboards). Then buy 2x 8 GB of RAM.

The motherboard has 2 slots and supports a maximum of 32 GB of RAM.

Hy

So I thought with a total of 8 gb still another 4gb ram stick

Hy

I have a picture but how am I supposed to send you that there's only 400w around and something else I do not understand

ex

Well… For office work should be enough 8 GB of RAM.

Hy

I want to play Fortnite not doing Office work

ex

Then buy 8 GB of RAM, then you have 12 GB of RAM. That's a start.

On download or so upload, post link here.
