Ps4 Player = Skill / No skill?

I (PC player) and my friends (PS4 players) sometimes have a discussion. Namely, there's the game '' Fortnite ''. In this game there are (as in many others also on the Ps4) * Auto aim *. And I mine (in my opinion) that has nothing to do with skill when it AUTOMATICALLY TARGETS. Is that just me? It may be harder to aim with Controller, but Auto aim has more to do with Skill 0 and is low for me personally. What do you think of it / what is your opinion?

Auto Aim supports aiming to match the lack of control with a controller. Auto Aim is by no means an automatic aiming. In general, the discussion is as ancient as the invention itself and, most importantly, completely obsolete. Try it yourself. It requires skill to be able to aim well with the controller. In general, first of all you should gain experience yourself before you condemn something.

Sa

I played with the controller myself to test it out. The aim was ridiculous. I only had to hit the target button once, and he followed the enemy for 2-3 seconds. Building was difficult with the controller, but that's another topic.

Le

Just depends on the game.

Console players have significant disadvantages with ego or third-person shooters:

Poor peripherals for this type of game (controller) and increased latency by playing on TVs that are configured in PC mode not optimal on gaming, but on image quality.

The console is aimed primarily at casual gamers who want to squat on the sofa and get started (even if there are enough hardcore gamers).

Anyway, Fortnite can only do a limited "skill", because the aiming is not exactly intoxicating.

It is not possible to make a conclusive comparison of how strongly auto-timing affects Fortnite, whether it makes it comparable to technically better-equipped PC players or whether there's an advantage.

In the win rankings are relatively many Konsoleros front. However, it is unclear whether it is because many simply play on console. These statistics are also very influenced by the frequency of playing.

Exciting is the single match kill statistics. In this statistic, where it is not about survival, but really about pixel heap-shooting, PC players are far ahead. This is an indication that PC players have advantages in the absolute high-level range (with up to insane 52 kills per round):

No offense, but that's the typical way of thinking of someone who's never played well with controller.

On the console, there are also pretty stark differences between good and bad games. Ok, maybe not as huge as on the PC, but this gap could not be explained without skill. And that the aiming aid does all the work, is also complete nonsense. To aim with the very fine mechanical sticks is just harder than with the mouse, where you have a lot more room to move from the wrist. That has to be compensated somehow.

Incidentally, I recently read that targeting is not active when sniping (if that's true). If you saw me live while sniping in BF1 on PS4, the topic would be fine for you.

I have played for a short time for testing with controller. For me, the car aim was unbelievable. I had to aim briefly, and the visir tracked the opponent for 2-3 seconds. And to the statement that the mouse is easier, For the stick you need a thumb. For the mouse a whole hand. I think it's harder to get a grip on the mouse, it's silken one has years of experience. And yet it is, even if Ps4 players have a drawback, auto aiming has nothing to do with skill when aiming AUTOMATICALLY or not?

Pa

For the beginner mouse is basically much easier. You'll need weeks to get used to the controller at all. With the mouse, you can start right away to aim perfectly, of course it takes a lot of skill, but anyone can get started right away.

The range of motion is 3x the size of the mouse - so where will you be more precise? This question has a definite answer. (If it is not clear - with the mouse)

And it does not aim at all automatically - essentially it slows down the movement when you're near the target. Play with one of your friends BF1 (multiplayer) with the controller on the console - there's no need for your claim of "automatic".

Whereby there are some PC gamers also one or two black sheep, which conjures up a better statistics with Aim-Bots & Co.

Sa

If you think so. I have only experienced that my PC friends friends had a big problem with mice. If you give me a controller, you can start, even though I've been playing PC for almost a decade. And as I said, I say it as I have seen / played it myself. When I played Fortnite With Controller, it was just ridiculous. No more and no less. Aim once and come 2-3 seconds behind. And my problem is that these people say something about skill. For me, this is not a skill, let's see maybe someone else can convince me. But not yet.

Pa

Maybe that's different in Fortnite. You've always got this handicapped hopping, maybe that's why.

The mouse is my own experience. I have thousands of hours of controller experience. Then I once played a first-person shooter for PC, and within a very short time had a neat precision. I also tried Fortnite on the PC (on console not) and would call myself quite competitive to a degree. And that with a total of maybe 15 hours in total FPS on the PC.

Co

True, on the PC that is even more possible.
