I have recently built a mid-range gaming pc that easily goes over 100fps in Fortnite, CSGO and CoD Modern Warfare. However, I only have a 60hz monitor and currently have no money for a new one. Means that I see 60fps permanently on my screen, so to speak
Yes exactly. If it is set in the system and your cable supports it.
And your cable supports it.
Even VGA supports 60 Hertz. Name me a PC cable that can't deliver 60 Hertz.
There are also enough cables that do not support 60 Hz. I once called an electronics store and asked if they had an HDMI cable, which is 5 meters long, and supported 60Hz, and they said yes, and when I was there it was said that it only supports 30Hz. An employee must have made a mistake.
Yes, 30 Hertz 4k. But there's no cable per sé except really old ones that do not support 60 Hertz on at least HD (720p) …
Then you probably had misunderstood something or set it wrong.
There was nothing wrong with it. The staff said that they were 60hz cables when I called before and when I was there I looked and there were 30hz cables.
30 Hz bandwidth or 30 Hz on the screen. Because that's a difference.
Bandwidth. I have a 144hz screen. And it's not like I don't know that it's a difference. The cable only supported 30hz.
