On the first PS4 most games are only in 30FPS. However, in games like Fortnite or Resident Evil 7 you have 60FPS. Now my question: Are the games Far Cry 5 and Control in 30FPS or 60FPS? I just want to know that in advance, otherwise I would get the games on the PC, because I find 30FPS not very pleasant to play with.
These games only run at 30 FPS (or less) on the PS4. So it will probably also be the PC version for you. ^^

If even the minimum system requirements of the named games for PC are in the range of an AMD Radeon HD 7850 to HD 7870, an AMD FX 8300 or Intel Core i7-870 / i7 - 2600 and 8 GB RAM, you can roughly on the first PS4 times rather with 25 to 30 FPS (25 to 30 frames per second) @ 1280 × 720, because this corresponds roughly to a hardware equivalency between PS4 v1 & PC.
With FC5 in particular, 30 FPS are documented facts on PS4 VER.1.
At "Control" I see it at least with the graphics card requirement in the meanwhile downward corrected (minimum) system requirements.

A Radeon HD 7870 / R9-270X would even be significantly below the minimum required HD 7970 / R9-280X in the PC system requirements. With FC5, the minimally required HD 7870 @ 925 MHz / R7-270 on the PC still roughly coincides with the graphics solution installed in a PS4-Ver.1.
If you have a correspondingly strong PC system, a purchase of these two games for PC might be the better option for you.
Strong PC? RTX 2070 should be enough. The thing is, I often find it more chilled to play on the console, simply because I can then play from the bed ^^
But okay, if there's no other way, then it has to be the PC. Just so long games find chillier for the console.
